Take an example that is representative of our installations. A company runs a mixed fleet, trucks, vans and company cars, spread across several sites. Before, positions were checked by phone, private mileage was argued over at month-end, and tachograph downloads meant a trip to the workshop.
After equipping, the fleet reports its positions in real time, fuel and engine hours are read from the CAN bus, the tachograph downloads remotely, and the driver hides private trips with one click. The installation was done in waves, without interrupting operations.
